Week of September 28, 2026

Major New Features

• Starter workspaces and new plans: Teams can now create a Stack Internal workspace themselves, invite colleagues, and begin connecting knowledge sources. Starter and Organization plans offer ways to begin and grow.
• Custom roles and invitations: Enterprise administrators can create and manage roles tailored to their teams. Starter workspace owners can invite colleagues.
• Custom sources: Organizations can register a source for knowledge that lives outside the built-in connectors, then bring that content into Stack Internal through the Content Ingestion API.

Updated Functionality

• Easier source setup: Connector pages explain account requirements more clearly, and Chat provides one place to begin connecting a source.
• More useful audit logs: Administrators can filter workspace activity by person, event type, and date range.

API Updates

• Content Ingestion API: Developers can create, update, and delete knowledge records for a registered custom source.
• Trust scores in knowledge results: When available, search results include a machine-readable score that helps applications assess the knowledge they retrieve.

Bug Fixes

• Google Docs syncing now retries temporary Google service errors instead of stopping the entire sync.
• The Analytics page no longer shows a second vertical scrollbar or lets its sidebar drift while scrolling.

Major New Features

• Microsoft Teams source: Connect Microsoft Teams to bring knowledge from supported public channels into Stack Internal.
• Analytics dashboard: View workspace activity, questions, answer engagement, helpful answers, searchable knowledge, and knowledge credit usage.
• Audit log viewer: Authorized administrators can view workspace activity in Control Center.

Updated Functionality

• The knowledge credits chart now separates usage from Chat, expert validation, connected AI tools, and the API.
• Source setup pages give clearer guidance on which accounts can connect to Google Docs, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.

API Updates

• The same usage and engagement measures shown in Analytics are available through the production Analytics API.

Bug Fixes

• Large Google Docs syncs can resume from their saved progress after an interruption.
• Large documents and an indexing problem in one workspace are less likely to delay knowledge search updates for other workspaces.

Updated Functionality

• On mobile, the Chat question box stays visible above the keyboard while you type.

Bug Fixes

• People who request expert validation can receive the completion notice even when their Slack account must be matched by email.

Bug Fixes

• Focusing the Chat question box on an iPhone no longer zooms the page and makes the controls difficult to reach.

Updated Functionality

• Administrators can edit an existing OAuth application’s name, description, redirect addresses, and permitted access instead of recreating it.

API Updates

• Workspace member search now supports exact user IDs, making it easier for integrations to find the right member.

Week of August 24, 2026

Updated Functionality

• Employees can begin single sign-on from their organization’s identity provider, such as its application dashboard.
• After an expert validates an answer, the person who asked can receive a notice with the review outcome.

Bug Fixes

• Long Chat conversations are less likely to fail when their history grows beyond the AI model’s input limit.

Week of August 10, 2026

Updated Functionality

• Chat’s Sources menu shows which knowledge sources are available and provides connection guidance suited to the user’s permissions.
• The sign-in page includes a link to login help.

Bug Fixes

• Numbered lists in Chat answers keep their numbering and associated citations.
• The workspace members page keeps its search, filters, sorting, and page position after an administrator changes a member’s role or activation status.

• Stack Internal launched for existing customers: Ask questions in Chat and see answers with their sources and trust labels.
